We started looking into RIBs as they are required for the many international charters we supply Optis to each year. Our main objective was to partner with an inflatable manufacturer with a history of turning out quality products; a manufacturer who could consistently produce a boat to our design parameters that would be a great value in the US market. ...happy to report that we found them!
All models feature a deep-V hull forward flaring into a wide (stable), stepped, fast planning aft section for quick acceleration. The result is one of the driest rides and best maneuverability of any inflatable we have ever tested. Tubes are high quality 1100 denier polyester fabric with proprietary double sided PVC coating. Full inch bonding at tube seams on both the exterior and interior and reinforced with seam tape for extra protection.
Special interior baffles are installed in the tubes to work as air pressure equalizers between the various chambers as well as prevent complete air loss in the case of a partial rupture.
Standard features include flat floor with molded in non-skid, high quality hand-crafted PVC (Hypalon available) tubes, hinged forward storage, auto draining bilge drain, pair of aluminum/resin oars w/ side mounted holders, stainless steel lifting eyes, handles and life rope mounted on tubes, heavy duty rub rail, foot pump and repair kit.
